Why See Cirque Mechanics?

Family ShowsCirque Circus

zephyr - a whirlwind of circus!

Cirque Mechanics unveils the all new circus spectacular Zephyr - A Whirlwind of Circus! A visionary marriage of the high flying art form, the company's trademark steampunk aesthetic and innovative storytelling. Perfect fun for the whole family (including the little ones) the mesmerizing show features a host of daring strongmen, acrobats, aerialists as well as a celebration of wind power and how as humans, for thousands of years, we've used wind to create machines.

Formed in 2004 by Bostonian cirque artist Chris Lashua, an expert wheel gymnast, Cirque Mechanics has gone from strength to strength, establishing themselves as one of the premiere cirque acts of the country thanks to their unique vision. Inspired by stories of American ingenuity, their productions bring together some of the best performer's in the world with joy, humour and astounding displays of technical ability that call to mind the grand tradition of the big top with a distinctive modern drive.
